The G20 group brings together the world's leading economies and is responsible for approximately 80% of global greenhouse gas emissions, making this perspective crucial for understanding the progress and challenges in implementing measures to combat climate change on a global scale. This study presents a comparative analysis of mitigation targets, emissions progress, and climate support provided by developed countries—highlighting advances, gaps, and challenges to the coherence and ambition of global climate policies.
This publication aims to contribute to strengthening the transparency, international accountability, and effectiveness of the global climate regime.
