Report that consolidates the main information from submissions presented by the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), focusing on topics that are on the agenda of the 2025 Bonn Conference (SB62). The document brings together analyses on six of the central areas of the negotiations:
Adaptation - Baku Adaptation Roadmap (BAR) and Adaptation Communications (AdComs);
Mitigation - Mitigation Work Programme (MWP) Dialogues;
Climate finance - Article 2.1c dialogue in complementarity with Article 9;
Just Transition - Just Transition Work Programme (JTWP) Dialogues;
Article 6 of the Paris Agreement - Article 6.8 and the minutes of the 15th meeting of the Supervisory Body of the Article 6.4 Mechanism; and
Transparency - Experience and challenges in implementing Article 13.
The report systematizes quantitative data on submitted submissions, presents summary tables by positioning of the Parties in the different negotiation tracks, and analyzes in detail the main points of divergence and particularities of each submitted submission.
It is a document that aims to help understand the direction of climate negotiations, especially the dynamics between negotiating groups, in order to support the work of negotiators, civil society organizations and other interested parties.
