The e-book “COP 30: The Amazon at the Center of Climate Governance” brings together 7 scientific articles written by experts, researchers and activists, organized by Caroline Rocha, director of public policy and engagement at LACLIMA, a graduate of the Federal University of Pará and PhD from USP, and André Castro, technical director of LACLIMA.
The texts address urgent challenges — such as Amazonian cities, energy transition, socio-biodiversity, and climate finance — intersecting them with the UNFCCC negotiations, in an effort to influence the decisions of COP 30 in Belém.
This publication is an important step towards amplifying the voices that speak about the Amazon, seeking not only to analyze but to transform the climate agenda from within the territory.
