The e-book “COP 30: The Amazon at the Center of Climate Governance” brings together 7 scientific articles written by experts, researchers and activists, under the organization of the director of public policies and engagement of LACLIMA, Caroline Rocha, graduated from the Federal University of Pará and PhD from USP, and by the technical director of LACLIMA, André Castro.
The texts address urgent challenges—such as Amazonian cities, energy transition, sociobiodiversity, and climate finance—intersecting them with the UNFCCC negotiations, in an effort to influence decisions at COP 30 in Belém.
The publication is an important step towards amplifying the voices speaking about the Amazon, seeking not only to analyze but also to transform the climate agenda from the ground up.
