In 2026, LACLIMA became a technical partner in two of the four Thematic Groups (TGs) promoted by AYA Earth Partners. This initiative brings together companies, organizations, and experts to discuss challenges and opportunities related to the climate transition and to develop solutions applicable to different sectors of the economy.

LACLIMA provides technical support in two strategic areas: Agriculture, Food Systems & Land Use, led by ANTEA Brazil, and Climate Finance & Capital, led by BV Bank. The other two groups are dedicated to the themes of Energy, Industry & Transition and Technology & AI. Each working group has a leading organization and a technical partner responsible for supporting and deepening the discussions.

In both groups in which it participates, LACLIMA's work seeks to bring the legal and regulatory debate closer to the discussions conducted by the private sector. The organization contributes to broadening the understanding of climate policy frameworks, implementation challenges, and the opportunities that arise with the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Thematic Groups also function as spaces for exchange between companies and experts, allowing for the identification of common challenges and transforming discussions into concrete results. Among the expected products are guides, recommendations, tools, and other materials capable of supporting climate action in different sectors.

By integrating the Agriculture and Climate Finance Working Groups, LACLIMA reinforces its role in building bridges between legal knowledge, public policies, and the actors responsible for transforming climate commitments into concrete implementation.
